Professor Gyampo, a political science lecturer at the University of Ghana, has been caught up in the BBC’s undercover piece titled Sex For Grade.
Thanks to BBC Africa Eye, their undercover investigation has unearthed the faces of lecturers who sexually harras female students with promises that they will give them good grades.
Some lectures in Ghana’s premium university, University of Ghana, Legon and the University of Lagos in Nigeria have been caught on tape engaging in Sex For Grades with female students.
One of the names in the video is Professor Gyampo, who is also the Head of European Studies at the University of Ghana.
The renowned Professor was seen in the video asking the BBC reporters who posed as a student to marry him so that he can and promised her academic favours.
In excerpts of the video, Professor Gyampo persuaded the reporter to meet him at the mall where he was caught on camera making inappropriate demands.
