A radio presenter with Accra-based Peace FM has recounted how he was paid off in the Tracey Boakye and Mzbel saga to end discussions on the scandal.
The issue, which caused a stir on the validity of some celebrity’s ways of life, was generally analyzed by media houses. However, Kwasi Aboagye says he was choked from remarking.
He related how just about 20 minutes to the beginning of his program, he got a call from his colleague journalist, who was going about as a middle person to the alleged ‘big man’ caught in the middle of the ‘beef.’
The journalist, according to him, tempted him with what he believes could be huge sums of money to ‘kill’ the topic when raised by his pundits.
