An Abuja taxi driver went ‘mad’ after police officers seized his car for defying the lockdown and social distance order in Nigeria.
The driver stated that hunger forced him to go out and work because he can’t sit down unconcerned when his family is dying of hunger.

He stated that his family hasn’t eaten and must get them something to eat in spite of the lockdown order and added that the coronavirus is not as deadly as “hunger virus”. The system won’t provide and he refuses to lay down and die hence his desire to work and feed his family.
When asked why his wild reaction and stripping naked after his car was seized, the taxi driver replied that;
” I want them to know that all is not well with me and my family, I have a wife and kids at home that I have to feed, things are difficult for me and my family”
