Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA’s) is at every turn when it comes to the biggest music awarding scheme in Ghana.
Numerous entertainment pundits, musicians and music lovers have criticized the actions of the organizers of VGMA’s after placing a ban on two top stars in the Ghana Music Industry, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy.
Latest to add his voice is a Ghanaian rapper and song writer Trigmatic.
According to him, lifting the ban on Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy will bring some more excitement into this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards as both artistes have huge following.
Speaking in an interview with Prince Benjamin Trigmatic noted that featuring both artistes in the 2020 VGMAs will make a difference.
He said: “I think it would bring in some more excitement. I mean they have the numbers, it would help, I think it’ll make that difference. Music is music and it’s a celebration of music, they’ll just lift whatever ban and let them live”.
Trigmatic added that: “Even if they don’t come in the categories or anything maybe a performance or something, I think that will be a solid surprise.”
